Some background information on the life of a child in Kenya…

• More than 1 in every 8 children die before reaching the age of 5
• 30% of all children suffer from stunted growth due to poor nutrition
• Nearly 70% of all children do not attend secondary school
• Over half of the population does not have access to adequate drinking water

If you’re interested in doing something about this situation, please join my efforts to raise money that will help in building 4 consulation rooms and a waiting bay for the Mbagathi District Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya.

It is estimated that this project will provide much improved medical care to 100 children per day.

Welcome!

I’m set to hike to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, from July 3rd to the 11th. The trek, organized by ‘Gulf for Good’ – a Dubai-based charity – is aimed at providing financial support for a children’s hospital in Nairobi, Kenya and I have decided to do my part in raising the money by selling some photographs that I have taken.
